The St. Croix Standard (Why Our Builds Last)

Our custom trailers were built to withstand that harshest Minnesota winters. Here’s what goes into each of our builds.

Raw Steel to Finish

We weld the chassis, cut the floors, and bond the exterior panels. We don’t convert shells, we build the frame.

Wash-Down Ready

Smooth-sided interiors built specifically for heavy wash-downs and strict health inspections.

Clean Paperwork

Every trailer gets a proper MCO. No messing around with “homebuilt” titles at the DMV.

Accessible Utilities

Plumbing, electrical, and gas lines are routed so you (or a tech) can actually service them.

Direct to the Builder

You talk directly to the guys running the shop, not a broker trying to make a commission.

Baked by the Shop

A heavy-duty structural warranty, handled right here in Minnesota.

Common Questions

Here are some frequently asked questions about our build process.
Can I choose steel or aluminum and different interior finishes?

Yes. We select construction and finishes for your trailer’s intended use and identify them in the written specification. Materials shown on another project are not automatically standard on yours.

Can all my equipment fit in a smaller trailer?

We check equipment dimensions, opening doors and lids, service access and working space. Exact specifications let us test those clearances before you commit to a smaller trailer.

Are outside dimensions the same as usable interior dimensions?

No. Walls, finishes, wheel wells and construction details reduce usable space. We check the finished interior and working clearances in the layout. Use the dimensioned drawings to evaluate equipment fit.
