“No two trailers we build are exactly the same”

“We help customers understand their options and then engineer the right trailer around their vision, intended use, and budget.” -Thomas Affeldt, Owner & Fabricator

“Building a custom trailer is not as simple as choosing steel or aluminum and installing equipment.”

We don’t build cheap trailers that fail code-compliance. We fabricate fully custom trailers and engineer it to fit different loads, dimensions, equipment, utilities, weight distribution, workflow, and code requirements.

Meet the Team.

Every team member of St. Croix Trailers brings their own expertise. We hire manufacturing engineers and professional builders.

Thomas Affeldt

I’m Thomas Affeldt, owner of St. Croix Trailers. One of the things that shaped my approach to this business was seeing people pay premium prices for workmanship that fell short. It bothered me, and I wanted to do things differently.

To me, quality should be more than a nice finish on pickup day. It should be in the structure underneath, the way everything fits together, and how the trailer holds up when you put it to work. My goal is to deliver high-end workmanship and commercial-grade construction at a fair, competitive price.

The People in Each Trailer Build

Our trailers are the work of a team, from design and fabrication through installation and finishing. We bring practical problem-solving and attention to detail to every stage.

We take pride in the finished trailer, but also in the work underneath it, the structure, connections, and details that support it long after pickup day.
