Why We Started St. Croix Trailers
"I started St. Croix Trailers after seeing too many food entrepreneurs get ripped off by shoddy cargo trailers and leaky trucks. We set out to build something better—trailers that pass code, survive winters, and are truly custom. No prefab, ever."
Every build is owner-inspected and engineered for the realities of food business—real health code, real durability. We use only 2×6" or larger steel/aluminum, 12" crossmembers, and .120" walkable roofs. Interior is always 304 stainless or aluminum. No wood or fiberglass.
Health permit plan check and paperwork is standard—we engineer critical details like ensuring your handwashing sink provides a 15-second, hands-free flow (Minnesota Rules 4626.0755) and that your wastewater tank is 15% larger than your freshwater tank to prevent overflow (Florida Admin Code 61C-4.010). Pass your local inspection, first time.
We're trusted from Minnesota to Texas, Florida to California, for our integrity, quality, and an unbeatable 3-year frame warranty (2 years limited on everything else, direct support, no runaround). Let's build your dream food trailer right, the first time.
