Warranty Policy for St. Croix Trailers
At St. Croix Trailers, we take pride in delivering high-quality, custom-built trailers designed to meet your specific needs. To demonstrate our commitment to excellence, we offer a One-Year Limited Warranty on Craftsmanship for all trailers manufactured by us. Please read the following terms carefully to understand the scope of this warranty and its limitations.
What Is Covered Under This Warranty?
This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service conditions for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery or pickup. Specifically, this warranty applies to:
- Structural integrity of the trailer frame (excluding rust or corrosion due to environmental factors).
- Welding defects or failures caused by improper craftsmanship.
- Manufacturing defects in components installed by St. Croix Trailers (e.g., axles, suspension systems, brakes, lights, etc.).
If a defect arises within the warranty period, St. Croix Trailers will, at its discretion:
- Repair the defective part(s) using new or refurbished components.
- Replace the defective part(s) with equivalent parts.
- Provide a refund for the cost of the defective part(s), if repair or replacement is not feasible.
What Is Not Covered Under This Warranty?
This warranty does not cover damage or issues caused by any of the following:
- Normal Wear and Tear : Components subject to regular wear, such as tires, brake pads, bearings, and electrical bulbs, are not covered.
- Improper Use or Maintenance : Damage resulting from misuse, overloading, neglect, improper maintenance, or failure to follow operating instructions.
- Environmental Factors : Rust, corrosion, or other damage caused by exposure to harsh weather conditions, road salt, chemicals, or other environmental factors.
- Unauthorized Repairs or Modifications : Any repairs, alterations, or modifications made to the trailer without prior written consent from St. Croix Trailers will void this warranty.
- Accidents or Abuse : Damage caused by accidents, collisions, improper towing, or abuse is not covered.
- Third-Party Components : Parts or accessories not manufactured or installed by St. Croix Trailers (e.g., aftermarket additions) are excluded from this warranty.
- Cosmetic Issues : Scratches, dents, paint chips, or other cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the functionality or structural integrity of the trailer are not covered.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To file a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Notify St. Croix Trailers of the issue in writing within the warranty period. Include your order number, photos of the defect, and a detailed description of the problem.

- Inspection: We may require you to bring the trailer to an authorized service center or inspection facility for evaluation. Alternatively, we may request additional documentation or photos to assess the claim.
- Resolution: If the claim is approved, we will repair, replace, or refund the defective part(s) as outlined in the “What Is Covered” section above. All decisions regarding warranty claims are final and at the sole discretion of St. Croix Trailers.
Limitations of Liability
- This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
- St. Croix Trailers shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, rental costs, towing expenses, or lost profits.
- The total liability of St. Croix Trailers under this warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the trailer.
Disclaimer
This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, whether written, oral, implied, or statutory, including any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. No employee, agent, or representative of St. Croix Trailers is authorized to make any modification or addition to this warranty.
Acknowledgment of Terms
By purchasing a trailer from St. Croix Trailers, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions of this warranty policy. It is your responsibility to thoroughly inspect the trailer upon delivery and report any visible defects immediately.
